Fed up of seeing your competitors smiling at you from the pages of magazines, or hearing their voices on podcasts?

Then you need the Brave PR Programme.

Over 12 fun and eye-opening weeks, you’ll go from being the best-kept secret in your industry to a go-to expert for the media. You’ll know who to talk to, how to reach them, and what to say.

You’ll stop thinking that being in the press is for everyone else and enjoy reaping the rewards of being out there.

This course is perfect for complete beginners to PR, as well as those who have some knowledge but want to take things to the next level.

If you are a business owner who wants to build your media relationships and gain regular, high-value exposure – by taking control of your visibility, this is for you.

This isn’t just about coverage, it’s about fully integrating PR into your business, aligning media relations with your overall goals and intentionally building and nurturing relationships that will allow you to be more visible, braver and more profitable in the long term. The reality is, PR isn’t a sprint, instead, a marathon, and when done well, it can help drive traffic to your website, increase sales, help book out your diary and events, as well as positioning you as an expert in your field and a trusted source for the media.

After spending more than two decades at the heart of the media industry, on a global scale, I understand PR inside out and back to front and now it’s time to share my secrets with you.

We kick off on 14 June… the question is, are you ready for the ride of your life?

Natalie is a PR genius. She got me coverage in The Daily Mail, Radio 4, The Mirror, The Express, The Guardian, You Magazine, Wired, and even an agony aunt column in Pick Me Up Magazine. She’s also incredibly personable, generous with her knowledge, and easy to work with.  If you want to learn how to get valuable PR coverage, she’s your woman!

The Brave PR Programme is for you if…

  • You’re a coach and want to shout about who you are and what you do, but a lack of know-how is holding you back right now.
  • Your results speak for themselves, but it just feels wrong to call yourself an expert. What do you even have to say?
  • Your yoga clients love you, but when it comes to self-promotion you’re paralysed by fear.
  • You’re frustrated at seeing your competitors in the press and wish you had the courage to do it yourself
  • As a personal trainer, you want to approach magazines like Red as you have a powerful fitness message to share, but you’ve got no idea where to start.
  • You engage with influencers on Instagram, but just wish you could move from their DMs to their grid so you can reach more people and sell more products.
  • You want to stop being a secret and help more people.
I signed up for the PR course with Natalie to promote my book. I was a complete novice. Natalie taught us the blueprint for successful PR. She generously shared the content, the structure, and the approach to do it all ourselves.  She demonstrated her expertise by helping each one of us with our individual challenges and coached us to move beyond our fears of getting it wrong.  Some of her kick-butt phrases will stay with me for life!

I hear you and I see you, and I here to tell you that now is time to come out of the shadows so potential clients and contacts know you are there.

Imagine opening a magazine… and seeing your face smiling back at you. Imagine friends, family, and business contacts telling you they saw you on TV. And imagine customers and clients coming to your website after seeing you online. All this is easily possible with a great understanding of PR and a strategy to action. And that’s exactly what I’ll help you create over the next 12 weeks together.  Forget complicated jargon and fluffy concepts, this is real-life PR, combined with university lecturing standard teaching by an ICF accredited coach who represented some of the world’s biggest brands during a 23-year, award-winning career.
Working with Natalie is an absolute pleasure. She really goes the extra mile when it comes to understanding your business and your target market. She won’t present you with any titles that are not suitable to your audience, meanwhile, she thinks outside of the box and always seems to have a new and fresh idea or approach. Natalie managed to get articles that represented my brand really well into national media including Metro and The Daily Mail. Thanks, Natalie!

Here’s what you’ll do on the Brave PR Programme

I’m super excited about this programme where I share my expertise and teach you the fundamental skills you need to get into the press.

As your coach and biggest cheerleader, I’ll give you the tools to say goodbye to Imposter Syndrome and welcome success into your business.  This isn’t a course that you can shy away from, and you’ll need to get involved and put in the work. If you turn up week after week, do the work, chase the opportunities, and really put your heart and soul into this, the rewards are there for the taking and I promise you’ll never look back.

Each week you’ll have access to a selection of videos, resources, templates, worksheets, and checklists that will lay the foundations for running your own PR. In these I will share my wisdom, ideas and industry experience so that you can succeed. The learning doesn’t stop there, as every Thursday morning, at 11 am, I’ll go live for 60 minutes to teach you each module and coach you to have the confidence to take action and move ahead, bravely.

  • Week 1

Week one is a PR 101 masterclass so you see how you fit into the media world and the impact it will have on your business. This session will also unpack the myths around PR and show that it isn’t just for JLo and Coca Cola so you start to feel brave about the exciting road ahead.

  • Week 2

Week two is about being your own media maker so that before you start pitching to Happiful (and you will), we’re going to make sure you’re visible on your own platforms and telling your story on your terms.

  • Week 3

At the heart of all great PR activity is your story. In week three you'll unpack who you are and what you do, so you can craft your PR story and put yourself in the spotlight.

  • Week 4

In week four we'll uncover where you want to be seen in the press as well as where you NEED to be seen - these could be two different things! You'll understand your audience and the media they consume, and begin building your contacts database. I’ll bring some helpful tips and tricks that you won’t find anywhere else.

  • Week 5

Press materials are key to hitting deadlines. So in week five, before we even reach the halfway point of the programme, we'll focus on getting you media-ready.

  • Week 6

Plans are important for PR, and in week six, I’ve got you covered. We will be putting together your story, your ideas, your media outlets, and combining this with seasonal events, awareness-raising and industry hacks, to create an updatable plan that will get you seen.

  • Week 7

You’re in for a treat in week seven as we get down to press release writing. By the end of our session, you will know how to grab the attention of a journalist with a headline and one side of A4.

  • Week 8

Pitch perfect is week eight and with your press release ready, you’ll get to spend an hour with Hayley, a fantastic blogger at who will tell you what she looks for in a story and how to get her attention for all the right reasons.

  • Week 9

Week nine is about social media for PR success and using it well can help you land you coverage in outlets such as Metro, HuffPost and The Guardian; places you might think are currently out of your league.

  • Week 10

A picture paints a thousand words and in week ten Donna Ford, a fantastic photographer, who works with brands that are in the media eye, will give you an insight into how to get your images, spot on.

  • Week 11

Week eleven and it’s your turn to pitch to a real-life, national magazine editor. Less than three months into your PR adventure, you’ll spend an hour with Gail Shortland, who is at the top of her game as the Editor of Chat and pick me up! You will hear what she wants from pitches and get to try your idea out with her on the day. Exciting or what?

  • Week 12

Week twelve is a confidence blasting session so you stay in your own lane once our time together is over and we will also be celebrating how far you have come, asking questions about the future, and making sure you are brave enough to graduate.

Having Natalie represent my work to the media was an absolute no-brainer. On our first call, she named what I did in the first 5 minutes - something I’d struggled to do for years. She was always on the lookout for new places I could contribute and while we were working together I was featured in or had an expert comment in major national publications on a monthly basis. Can't recommend this woman highly enough - if you have her in your corner, be prepared to start getting noticed!  Pamela Spence

My promises to you by the end of our time together are:

I can’t guarantee coverage (that’s called advertising) but I’m confident that before the end of week 12, you’ll have been seen in the press with other opportunities lined up.

What’s the investment?

Let’s face it, gracing the pages of Good Housekeeping, being quoted as an expert in Psychologies, or having your book reviewed by Business Insider is priceless, but you need the skills and the swagger to do those things, and that is what you are buying with this programme.

The price tag comes in at £1997 and for this you get:

If you do the work, put in the time, and step out of your comfort, you will get your press coverage before the end of week 12, and that is just the start of the publicity you will then generate month on month.

Brave Bonuses

As well as being 100% PR ready and bravely confident like never before, you’ll also get:

  • A welcome pack from me that is created just for you, including a copy of my book, PR School – Your Time to Shine
  • A pre-course questionnaire will be sent to you when you sign up so I can find out more about you and my razor-sharp PR brain will be able to identify media ideas for you before we even get going.
  • A starter for five media databases, based on your business and goals.
  • A PR glossary so jargon doesn’t stump you.
  • Exclusive media opportunities which will be shared in your private Facebook group,
  • A certificate when you complete week 12.

Meet me, your Brave PR coach, mentor, and biggest cheerleader

For the first decade of my PR career, I worked with brands such as CNN, Cartoon Network, Epson, HP, and Discovery Channel and ensured they were in the press time and time and time again, all around the world. As a mother of young sons, I needed more flexibility, so I set up my own agency representing entrepreneurs, health brands, and online business owners.

Not shy of being in the limelight, I regularly work with the press and put my industry know how to use and am often in Metro, Health & Wellbeing, Stylist, and Prima, as well as the BBC and Sky News. I walk the walk and talk the talk, and will never ask you to do something I haven’t done myself or don’t think you can handle (you can handle it all).

“I first worked with Natalie when she organised easily the best press trip I’ve ever been on and since then she has kept me supplied with a steady stream of interesting experts and innovative products. She’s a joy to work with – honest, reliable, and professional to the core. I’d call her a true friend rather than a colleague, despite the fact that we’ve yet to meet, and that tells you everything you need to know about what working with her is like.”
Freelance Lifestyle Journalist

In 2020, I trained as an ICF accredited coach and this allows me to empower more women than ever to be brave, step into their potential and live a life they love. In 2020 I received the Positivity Award from Women in Business, and was named the Most Inspiring Women in Coaching PR, and was one of the top 50 Global Female Entrepreneurs to Watch by, as well as being one of the top women in media by About Time Magazine in 2019.

I live in Devon, so when I’m not working, you’ll find me in the surf with my sons, on the beach with my dogs, or reading Grazia in a coffee shop by the sea.

"Natalie's PR course made a huge difference to my business. In the first six weeks of the course I'd gained not only the confidence to actually start my business and create the website, but also wrote my first ever press release and got my business coverage in a local paper (print and online), BBC radio and on a large UK based blog. I've also been able to track the clients that came from those specific PR efforts."

Have Questions?

The Brave PR Programme lasts 12-weeks.

You do not need past PR experience, if you have it, great, but I will be here to take you through the process of becoming media savvy and PR confident so don’t let your experience get in your way of joining me and my experts.

The Brave PR Programme is £1997, paid either in full or over the three months of our time together.

We all know that there are a plethora of free courses and challenges out there and each one is valid and has its place. The Brave PR Programme has been designed with you in mind and as such, I not only teach you the foundations of this powerful communications tool, but you get access to my industry experience, contacts as well as my ICF accredited coaching style. I will be here with you every step of the way, offering accountability and cheerleading as well as being there when the doubt creeps in to remind you that you can do this. This isn’t a quick fix, five days, one-off, this a programme that will give you a business skill forever.

The live calls will be on a Thursday morning at 11 am (GMT) and all sessions will be recorded and added to our private Facebook group so you can watch at your own convenience.

We will have a private Facebook community, so if you have questions for me, you can add them in there, and I will get back to you within 24 hours during the working week.

Yes, you will receive a welcome pack, worksheets, templates, and tick lists to ensure you are brave enough to go out there and do your own PR.

There is a seven-day cooling off period once we start working together. After that time, no refunds are possible, but I really hope you will want to be brave and come along for the ride.

As with every client I work with, I am 100% committed to offering the highest quality coaching and mentoring, but I cannot make you do the work. The Brave PR Programme has been designed to be a supportive, energised, professional offering and I will bring you the very best of my experience, knowledge, and contacts. But your success depends on you putting in the time and work. So I will ask you now, how much do you want to be in the press? Because I will work with you to do this, but you need to put on those determined shoes and walk your walk.

Ready to unleash the power of publicity and get MORE attention, MORE respect, and MORE business as a result?

Come and join me on the Brave PR Programme now and together we’ll turn you from the best-kept secret in your industry to the name on everyone’s lips.

"It was wonderful to be guided through the basics of PR by someone so patient and knowledgeable. Natalie explained how and when to make approaches, how to present a press release and how to interact online with our preferred publications and journalists. I came away with 100% more knowledge than I'd had before and can't thank her enough!"
