New creative networking in St Albans

Esther Wane, a Harpenden based creative coach and voice actor, is launching a new monthly networking event aimed at bringing creative professionals together and giving them a new platform for sharing ideas and building communities.

The first Creative Cauldron session will kick off at 10am on Friday September 27th at the Trestle Arts Base, with tickets available via Eventbrite.

Esther, who already has a free, engaged online community, hopes the monthly face to face meetings will give people who are put off by the stereotypical networking events, a thought provoking alternative bespoke to creative professionals, where they can relax, feel at home and make those important local connections.

Esther, says, “Creatives thrive on being around other creatives. We buzz with energy and excitement, often just from being in the same space, thrilled at finding others who work in the same way as us, yet many of us work alone. As a creative and introvert, myself, I often feel out of place at networking events; my stomach clenches, my palms sweat and my mind, usually so full of chatter, goes blank, and I don’t think I am alone, which is why I have set this up.”

She adds. “Whether you’ve been working as a creative for a while, have just embarked on your professional creative career, or are wondering whether to take the leap into creativity, I’d love you to come along on 27thSeptember. Over time we will share ideas, build resilience for the creative journey, discover new collaborators and build our creative team.”
