New website, new blog, new features. Each week on Natalie Trice Communications, I am going to bring you a breath of fresh in the form of business people who are doing it for themselves. In my work, networking, time at the school gates and down on the beach, I come across a wonderful mix of people who are doing incredible things. Arabella is one of these very people. She welcomed me to Devon with open arms and as the Editor of www.exeterbabyactivities.co.uk she offers the ultimate guide to being a parent in Exeter. Over to you….. Press Release – The House By The Marsh by William Blyghton

New Novel Suggests We Leave The Clichés At The Door And Sit With Grief With a stiff upper lip approach to grief often being taken by older generations, it is hoped The House By The Marsh, the debut novel by William Blyghton, will help people open up about their feelings of loss and loneliness and make peace with their new found reality. Set in London and Suffolk, the heartbreakingly delicate story follows the emotional journey of William, a widower, whose wife dies of cancer, after four decades of marriage. Steering clear of well used clichés, like time is a healer, the story dives into the sadness and pain of loss while exploring the sweet sorrow of recovery. It is a …

Work life balance isn’t just for one week

The 2nd to 6th October is National Work Life Week and the reminder we need that all work and no play doesn’t make for a happy life. Working Families, the UK’s work life balance charity, and sister organisation Family Friendly Working Scotland are behind this thought provoking campaign. The reality is, when the work is there and the pressure is on, …

One minute I was touching down in Heathrow after an English teaching stint in Tokyo, the next I realise I’ve been working in the world of PR for TWENTY YEARS? That wasn’t ever really the plan. To be honest, I didn’t ever have a plan. At university I studied history of art, not vocational but with a student grant and weekly digs that cost less that we pay for breakfast these days, what did I have to lose? At 17 I wasn’t thinking about wanted to do for the rest of my life I just wanted to live in an exciting city and study something I would enjoy and actually get out of bed for. Five years later and I …

Natalie Trice Communications Joins Forces with The Write Factor

It is quite an amazing thing to write a book, but to get people to notice it and buy it can be a totally different, but equally challenging task. When I secured my deal for Cast Life – A Parent’s Guide to DDH, the driving force behind my writing was a desire to reach out to other parents dealing with a condition that isn’t life threatening, but can certainly be life changing. The book came together pretty quickly; I locked myself away in my office for three months and got on with the job in hand. It was tough, not so much the writing, but having to relive painful moments in my life and reflecting on the operations and recovery …
