Lisa Phillips is ‘In the Business Spotlight’

Less than two weeks to go until Christmas Day and yet it is still busy at NTC with new business calls to make, contracts to sign and cards to post (yes, I still do that).  With 2018 looking exciting and full of opportunities I am already starting my planning and this includes scheduling blog posts that put businesses like yours, in the spotlight. Today, Lisa Phillips, the founder of ‘Amazing Coaching‘ takes that spot and I have a feeling you are going to be interested in what she has to say. I am the founder of ‘Amazing Coaching‘ and specialise in assisting individuals and organisations with confidence, resilience and self esteem. I am also the author of ‘ The Confidence Coach‘. …

A survey out today has shown that two thirds of mums are interested in retraining and 58% have considered setting up their own business. While 68% of women were just thinking about starting a business, 15% were already in the early stages of setting up and 10% were working on a business plan. Hugo Filipe Ribeiro from magikbee is ‘In the Spotlight’

Hugo Filipe Ribeiro worked in marketing and sales at large companies in the telecoms industry, before founding magikbee, and he is here today to talk about just that. Tell me about your business We are an ed-tech startup focused on designing fun and educational toys, games and apps for young kids – always using innovative technologies. The business started with one product, magik play – a set of wooden building blocks with which kids play games and solve puzzles on the screens of tablets – but we have since had new ideas, and found interesting ways to deploy the technology, and as such have broadened our product portfolio substantially – and with it, the potential of the business. Why start …

Simona Mazenyte from Skin Aspirations is ‘In the Spotlight’

Today, Simona Mazenyte is ‘In the Spotlight’ on the NTC blog.  This Chelsea based Skin Therapist is the founder of Skin Aspirations and takes her clients on a unique journey when it comes to taking care of their complexions so they look and feel their best. My name is Simona Mazenyte and I have worked as a Skin Therapist for five years in various skin clinics in London. During my career, I recognised the skin care industry’s one-size-fits-all approach was not in-sync with what a client needs in their desire for healthy skin. As a result, I had a burning desire to start my own skin clinic, Skin Aspirations, which provides customised, benefits-driven treatments that garner real results. Who is your …

Natalie Trice Communications signed up by Catherine Ingleby

Today I am delighted to announce I am now working with the renowned wildlife, sporting and equine artist, Catherine Ingleby. Catherine and I had a meeting in her gorgeous Berkshire studio around six years ago where we brainstormed ideas and I was wowed by her work. Life got in the way, schedules were busy and I moved half way across the country and things didn’t progress. By a twist of fate, my client, mecolife, suggested Catherine get in touch with me as they discussed PR and the coverage I’ve been generating them was discussed. Two and two were put together and here we are. We have some really exciting plans in place, starting with a festive press release and media relations …

Judith Wolf Mandell is in the Spotlight

Social media. Some people love it, some hate it, I fall into the former category. It helps me keep in touch with family and friends around the world, connect with businesses and it has allowed me to promote my book, Cast Life, as well as set up an international support network for parents and patients dealing with DDH. As a combination of all these factors I ‘met’ the lovely, and very talented, Judith Wolf Mandell.  Judith is the author of picture book, Sammy’s Broken Leg (Oh, No!) and the Amazing Cast That Fixed It and is in the spotlight on this blog today and I have a feeling you will be interested in what she has to say. How did you get into writing? …
